Realize your Purpose, Meaning, & Values
What do I want? What do I really want? What is the next step for me? What is emerging? ...Within us at any time is an inner calling, a movement. Learning to really listen for this, and honor it, is an essential skill in awakening to our highest Self, and creating a life in alignment with our own purpose, meaning, and values.
It is a process of listening to and responding to our inner Call of Self. This may sound like an easy, obvious thing. For some it may be! But for most of us, who have been burdened by culture and upbringing, this inner call may sound like the faintest whisper, which we are left struggling to hear, acknowledge, or allow. The good news is, the more one begins to focus on, honor, and respond to this inner calling, the more it becomes a natural, effortless process.
It is the natural progression of your life to be getting clear on that which calls you, to remove internal obstacles in the way, and to find ways to express yourself in a way that satisfies the deepest longing.
If it were easy, we'd be all be there already, satisfied with our own response to life. For me, despite countless self help books, yoga, numerous zen meditation retreats, and two solid decades of searching, it was heart wrenchingly elusive, until I encountered the perspective of a skilled psychosynthesis guide. Through that perspective, I finally found myself. I also found my work. It is my own calling, and my great privilege, to guide those who seek a more direct path to themselves.
My belly, a week before my son was born.
This image, which an artist painted on my belly before my son was born, is from my earliest recollected dream (around age 4). It represents to me the kundalini/life energy (the snake), uniting with the tree of life. It is my personal symbol of enlightenment, of a fully lived, fully engaged, fully expressed life.
While it is a rich example of meaningful expression (how satisfying it was to put this dream into a piece of art! and to celebrate my pregnancy with intention!), I share it because this dream told me something when I was 4, which still resonates, and which is part of my work today, which is this:
We are each on a unique path, which our parents know nothing about. All we need to start on that path is to feel for our genuine desire, our heart leading the way, and follow it. When we listen from the heart and respond to that calling, we enter the thrilling world of truly living our life.
While we are the only ones who can point to the mountain peak of our unique destination, and no one can walk it instead of us, it doesn't mean we can't enlist support in getting there. My job, like an experienced mountain climber, is not to know your path, but to offer you support in navigating yours.
You don't need to know where you're going to begin on the path! None of us really knows. We just learn to follow our own True North, one tiny step at a time, or, when we get moving, one short stretch of the path at a time. And we learn how to identify and get around the obstacles.
If it feels right, if it feels like a pull, if you feel so called, then contact me. It would be my great privilege to walk with you.
